U13 Girls HMMS Eagle FC United Win The 2011 West Chester Summer Classic In A True Classic..

The girls started off the 2011 season with a Tournament Victory!  It was a tough road to the finals in this Classic.  The FC Squad had 2 players taken off the field by an ambulance over the August 6th & 7th weekend.  Both girls are recovering well and hope to join back up with the team soon.  The final match was played against the home team, West Chester United Predators '98.  It was a tight match that finished with a 0–0 tie at the end of regulation.  The score remained 0-0 after a 10 minute Golden Goal Overtime.  FIFA penalty kicks were taken to determine the winner.  It took 9 shooters per side to determine who would to be the Tournament Champions. Congratulations to the team for a hard fought title!!

U12 Girls HMMS HEAT – Win 3rd Annual More Beach Blast

Congratulations to the HMMS HEAT for winning the Girls U12 Sea Division in Wildwood, NJ over the July 16th & 17th weekend.  The team outscored their opponents 33-3 in the sand.  The girls beat teams from LAC Soccer Club (NJ), Haverford SC Chargers (PAE) and Cape Express Shockwave (NJ) to advance to the Championship game.  The final match was played against Quakertown SC White (PAE).  The Heat defeated Quakertown 5 – 0 and secured the title as ‘ Queens of the Beach’ for 2011.

U12 HMMS HEAT Girls Win 2011 Buckingham March Into Cups Soccer Tournament

Congratulations on winning another title in the 2010/2011 season.  The girls closed out their season of 11v11 play in The Buckingham March Into Cups Tournament Division 1 group on June 4th, 2011.  They started off with a 2-0 victory over the Methacton United Tidal Waves.  The girls continued putting the ball in the back of the net with a 4-0 victory over Lehigh Valley Magic Black Magic.  Finally, our Championship game against Deep Run Valley Strikers was filled with some memorable moments as we trailed 0-1 at half-time.  The girls came out composed and tallied 2 late goals in the match to take the lead.  Our goalkeeper made a PK save in the final seconds of the match to help us capture the CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE with a 2-1 victory! The team is trained by Gino DiFlorio, coached by Phong Truong, assisted by Brian Bruckner, and managed by Mary Northrup.

U12 HMMS HEAT Girls Win The Eastern Pennsylvania Horizon Services Indoor Cup

The HMMS HEAT captured their first Indoor State Cup title on Super Bowl Sunday, February 6th, 2011!  After being eliminated last year in shootouts, the team was determined to play hard and win the cup.  The girls went undefeated and outscored their opponents 16–2 during tournament play in the U-12 Girls Second Division.  They trained all winter long to prepare for this event and had one of their best soccer days as a team.  We are all very proud of this group of athletes.  It was a fun filled day of soccer and the girls left Wilkes-Barre as CHAMPIONS!!

3 Fall 2010 Tournament WINS!

Three Tournament Champion Wins In The 2010 Fall Season!!

Congratulations to the HMMS HEAT U12 Girls for capturing their Third Championship of the 2010 Fall Season!!  The team was placed in the B Division of the 25th Anniversary Hempfield Fall Classic.  The girls went undefeated and outscored their opponents 16-1 in their 4 matches, eventually beating Chestnut Hill BLUE LIGHTNING in the finals 4-0.  It was a team accomplishment with 12 different girls scoring goals, 5 different girls playing keeper and the team’s DEFENSE recording 3 shutouts!

Defending Their Title – U12 Girls HMMS HEAT

TEAM HEAT set a goal to defend their title in the 18th Annual Dillsburg Dual Shootout Soccer Tournament on Columbus Day weekend, October 9 & 10, 2010.  After their memorable Championship Match in 2009, 9 shooters in the finals before claiming their victory in shootouts, the girls repeated history by claiming their prize in shootouts again in 2010.  This time it only took 4 shooters before they were crowned Defending Champions!!  The Tournament's World Cup format features two rounds of play.  During their Qualification Round, the team had a record of 2-0-1.  They had a record of 5-1 in the  Championship Round's double elimination format.  The girls played well outscoring their opponents 16-3 during the weekend.  Two of the Championship round games went to shootouts and the girls were ready for the challenge.  They tallied 2 goals in each shootout and our team’s goalkeeper (Sydney Bruckner) had 0 goals allowed in the shootouts!!

HMMS HEAT U12 Girls Win The Spirit Kick-Off Classic XXIV Bronze Division

Congratulations to the team for a well deserved Championship.  The girls played in the Spirit United Tournament over the August 28th – 29th weekend.  They placed 2nd in their bracket after Saturday’s preliminary games, beating GCVSA HOT SHOTS 7-0 and losing to CARDIFF FURY 0-2.  On Sunday, they battled hard to beat the 1st place team in the division, FC AMITY BLUE PANTHERS 2-1 and made the championship game.  The girls met up with the CARDIFF FURY team from Maryland again and was able to finish the weekend as CHAMPIONS with a 3-1 victory!!

The Heat took home the Championship in the U-11 Girls 8v8 bracket at The Red Rose Classic over the May 1st and 2nd weekend.  The Girls went undefeated over the weekend facing the Baltimore Bays Panthers, Rage Redstars and playing a tough game against the CV Thundercats winning 3-2 to take the Championship.

U11 GIRLS HMMS-HEAT WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE DILLSBURG DUAL SHOOTOUT

Congratulations to our newly formed U11 Girls HMMS-HEAT.  As the girls moved from the 8v8 format to the 11v11 format, players were combined from last year’s U10 HMMS-HOT SHOTS  and HMMS-STRIKERS to form the HMMS-HEAT!  The girls worked very hard to get their team chemistry together for this tournament.  They went undefeated in 3 preliminary matches and 4 Championship matches.  The girls proved to have a STRONG defense in the tournament by not allowing a single goal in regulation time in any of their 7 matches.  The Championship match ended in a 0–0 battle and it took 9 shooters from each team to finally decide the winner of the match in the Dillsburg Dual style shootouts.

Congratulations to our HMMS HOT SHOTS!

The HOT SHOTS took home the Championship in the U-10 Girls bracket at The Lancaster Summer Classic over the June 6th and 7th weekend.  The Girls went undefeated over the weekend facing the Fleetwood Tigers, NYAA Lady Tigers, CV Thundercats and playing a tough game against the MT Strikers winning 2-0 in the Championship Match.  We had three guest players from the HMMS U-10 Strikers’ team help us out over the weekend; Mary Grace Abom, Rachel Barrick and Maddie Grossman.  The team is coached by Phong Truong, assisted by Brian Bruckner and trained by Dustin Bixler.

Gettysburg Shamrock 6v6 Shootout
HMMS HOT SHOTS and HMMS STRIKERS U-10 girl’s soccer teams took 1st and 2nd place

It was an HMMS represented final in The Gettysburg Shamrock 6v6 Shootout.  The HMMS HOT SHOTS and HMMS STRIKERS U-10 girl’s soccer teams took 1st and 2nd place in the St. Patty’s Day weekend indoor tournament.  The HOT SHOTS advanced to the final game beating The Dillsburg Kixx in a nail biter overtime finish 4-3, while The STRIKERS came from behind with a win over the Greencastle United 2-1.  Congratulations to both teams!!!
